Rock Types

1.Rock cycle- rock cycle is the endless change of rocks and magma. First the magma get cool in the outside of volcanic, the lava get cold down and become igneous rock. Cool inside the volcanic is call intrusive rock, the outside is call extrusive rock. When the wind and waves keep and keep hit the igneous rock, this process is call erosion and weathering. This process keep and keep doing, igneous rock will broke into sediment and sediments cement together is call sedimentary rock. When the sedimentary rock get heat and pressure, it will become metamorphic rock. When metamorphic get heat again, it will become magma again.

2.Rocks-vocabulary
Metamorphic rock-Rock change by pressure and heat.

Magma/lava- molten rock found inside the volcano.

Solidification- magma became solid by cooling.

Igneous rock- magma get cool down.

Weathiering-breaking rock into pieces.

Erosion-pieces rock get transported.

Sediment- sand.

Compaction-compress

Cementation-combine.

sedimentary rock- many sand combine together.

3.Rock types
igneous intrusive- cool inside the volcano with big crystals.

igneous extrusive- cool outside the volcano with small crystals.

sedimentary/clastic-dirty rock.

sedimentary/crystalline-formed under water.

sedimentary/bioclastic- form dead animal and plant.

metamorphic/foliated-with layer in the surface.

metamorphic/non-foliated -with no layer in the surface.
